Literacy - Poetry: Kennings

This week we have been writing our own Kenning poems. We began by guessing the subject of existing Kennings and then used it to help use write our own. Below is a class kenning we created.

Dojo maker
Word speller

Knowledge giver
Pupil helper
Perfect shouter
Computer master


Cane whipper?
Evil punisher?
Mad educator?
Pupil carer.
